In his moving FIX18 talk,  Dr. Dimitri Papanagnou shares his story of being bullied as a child, both at school and at home. Bullied adolescents have higher risks of depression, suicidal ideation and suicide attempt. These risks are even worse among LGBTQI youth. While delving in to the problem of bullying, Dr. Papanagnou uses his personal experience as a call to action for all of us to find our voices and speak up against hatred, to recognize how powerful we can be to influence others and be leaders as educators and leaders to speak for those who don’t have a voice.

Stay tuned for a soon to be released blog post by Dr. Papanagnou but in the meantime, check out his outstanding FIX18 talk below!
