Dr. Ashley Shreves completed medical school at  Louisiana State University School of Medicine and emergency medicine residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. She then went on to complete a palliative medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Clinically, she splits her time between emergency medicine and palliative care.

In her FIX talk, she discusses some difficult ED cases, focusing on how how end of life care and the conversations that surround that care can go many different ways. Using specific cases as examples she gives excellent tips on how we can do palliative care in the emergency department.
