Alicia Welder, MD, FACEP recently relocated to Oregon after training and working as a physician in Iowa. She is the mother of two girls: a spunky 2 year-old and a happy but hungry 3 month-old. She enjoys spending most of her time outdoors with her ophthalmologist husband and girls exploring the northwest. Other favorite pastimes include sleeping more than 3 consecutive hours and hard cider. What she loves most about being a physician mom is having her own supply of dermabond for her adventurous family—and saving lives, of course.
