Angela Jarman is an Emergency Medicine Physician. She has just completed a Sex & Gender in Emergency Medicine fellowship and Master of Public Health degree at Brown University. Angela is a North Carolina native and majored in Women’s Studies at Duke University before attending medical school at the University of Kentucky. She trained in Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah and will be headed back west this fall to join the faculty at the University of California, Davis as an assistant professor. Her professional interested include sex differences in resuscitation and gender bias in medicine and leadership. Personally, Angela enjoys long hikes with her dog, her many nieces, and good books!
