Dr. Beth Pontius graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. After completing an ultrasound fellowship at the same institution, she stayed on as faculty, working in ultrasound and simulation education for emergency medicine residents and Georgetown University medical students. She is now an Assistant Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency at Georgetown, and her interests include emergency medical education, ultrasound education, curricular development, Nationals baseball, visiting all the National Parks, and generally spoiling her two German Shepherds, Sammy and Marla, with her husband Andrew.
