Dr. Frosso Adamakos is a native Brooklynite, but lived in Montreal Canada for 10 years as well. After completing residency as a chief resident at Maimonides Medical Center, she worked at the Staten Island University hospital academic and community sites where she ultimately developed her niche in resident education. She now works at Metropolitan Emergency Department as Assistant Program Director and on the side is a ring-side boxing physician for USA Boxing. Her other professional interests include physician well-being, mentorship and lecturing. She is also on the ALL NYC EM Committee. When Frosso is not busy working, she enjoys building a fulfilling life outside of medicine.
