Hala is a the founder and CEO of Physician Moms Group (PMG) a support group for female physicians who are moms! This strong group of women has grown to over 39,000 members strong and is the largest women and mothers group in the United States! Hala and other members of PMG concentrate on networking and providing emotional and professional support as members learn to perfect their work-life balance. Hala earned her degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. She is also the mother to three children: ages 2 and twins who are 10 months old. After struggling with infertility for five years, she is grateful to have been able to have her children via in-vitro fertilization (IVF), as they have been her motivation for finding a good work life balance, which ultimately inspired the creation of PMG.
