Jamie is currently completing fellowship in ED Administration and Quality at the University of Wisconsin. She is originally from New Mexico and moved to Madison, Wisconsin for residency. She has been active in the American Association for Women Emergency Physicians because she has a passion for mentoring and helping women advance in emergency medicine while developing leadership skills. She is interested in patient safety and quality improvement in emergency medicine, particularly relating to sepsis care and safe opioid prescribing. She has a passion for writing, reading sic-fi, hiking and biking. Her favorite way to pass time is traveling with her husband, Steven.
