Kate Jennings, MD is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado Denver. She attended medical school at the University of Kansas and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado Denver. In her clinical time, she attends at the Denver VA Medical Center as a hospitalist and Palliative Medicine physician. Her research interests include resident wellness and burnout as well as the role of gender bias and gender inequity in academic medicine. When not wearing a white coat, she is the mother of two young children and a wife to a very supportive husband. In any spare time, she is outside—running, biking or hiking the beautiful mountains of Colorado.
