Dr. Kathleen Stephanos MD, FAAEM, was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and received her medical degree from University of Maryland. She remained at University of Maryland for a five-year combined residency in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. Following graduation in 2016 she joined the faculty at Strong Memorial Hospital with the University of in Rochester in Rochester, New York. Dr. Stephanos is a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (FAAEM), and is a member of ACEP. As a recent graduate, she is still developing her interests with current focus in pediatrics, health care disparities, wilderness medicine and support for women. She is a second-generation female Emergency physician and is also the mother of 2 children (almost 3).
