Dr. Kathy Staats is an EMS and Emergency Medicine physician passionate about establishing EMS as a critical component of medical care in the US, and increasing recognition of psychological support for medical providers from the field to the hospital. Staats completed medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, EM residency at UT Austin in Texas, and an EMS Fellowship at University of California in San Diego. She has spoken at local and national conferences, and is currently practicing in sunny California.
