Larisa Coldebella, MD is an emergency physician who completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin where she served as chief resident. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Director of Resident Resilience at Greenville Health System. Her interests include physician burnout, parental leave, women’s health and resident wellness. She contributed several chapters to the book ‘Resident Well-Being: A Guide for Residency Programs’ and serves on CORD’s Resilience Committee. She is also Editorial Director of the non-profit organization, MedEdGuru, whose mission is to improve access to medical education in low and middle income countries. Larisa’s husband, Angelo, is also an emergency physician and they recently welcomed their first child, Luca, in January 2018.
