Dr. Natassia Buckridge is an Emergency Medicine resident physician and social justice advocate. She completed medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and is currently training at Kings County Hospital/SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City. Born in Jamaica and raised in Brooklyn, she is particularly sensitive to the complexities of identity development and the importance of practicing culturally competent medicine. She is passionate about the social determinants of health, evidence-based system improvement, and effective communication. She enjoys swimming, craft beer, dancing, indie-pop music, and traveling.
