Originally from Queens, New York City, Sumit graduated with a BA in Biology from Binghamton University and a medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He is a current emergency medicine resident at the University of Maryland. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing, spending time with his wife and pup Olivia, photography, listening to old records, and thinking up ways to help improve medical education, Emergency Medicine, and the world.
