Valerie A. Pierre, MD is currently a PGY-2 resident at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She hails from the Washington, DC metropolitan area and is an alumna of Howard University College of Medicine. She is passionate about public health, health policy, and health equity; and currently serves as a Vice Chair for the Health Policy committee of the Emergency Medicine Residents Association. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and exploring New York City.
