Congratulations to Dr. Prithvishree Ravindra for receiving the first ever FIX19 International Attendee Scholarship. This award was created to support women from low and middle income countries to attend FIX19. Dr. Ravindra was selected from over 70 applicants! A special thank you to The Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) & The Emergency Medicine Journal (EMJ) for supporting this awesome woman and scholarship.

 Dr Prithvishree Ravindra is an Emergency Physician at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. She completed her undergraduate education at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and her residency training in Emergency Medicine at JSS Medical College, Mysuru. She is an instructor for American Heart Association’s Basic and Advanced cardiac life support, and for Advanced Trauma Life Support. She is an instructor of AIIMS Ultrasound trauma life support course and is actively involved in ultrasound training. Her interests include community outreach, and she has participated in multiple training programs to educate and train community members about emergency conditions with the goal of improving emergency care. Her research interests include resuscitation and trauma. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, and trying new cuisines.
