Congratulations to Dr. Rebecca Teague for receiving the 2019 CORD Doctor Salvatore Silvestri Resident Travel Scholarship Award! This memorial award is given to a candidate who best exemplifies exceptional character, integrity and dedication to emergency medicine, emergency medical services and education.
Rebecca attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center for medical school and is currently a PGY2 in Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky. Her interests include spending time with her family in East Tennessee, gardening, international medicine, keeping up with her love of music, and working with the amazing women of UKFEM.

I was not aware that CORD had such an award, but Sal was a resident of mine at Hopkins. He certainly exemplified exceptional character, integrity and dedication to EM, EMS, and education. Congrats Rebecca, you will be traveling/walking in VERY large and deep footsteps.
