Congratulations to Dr. Utsha Khatri for receiving the EMRA CORD Academic Assembly Scholarship!  This scholarship is given to an individual who demonstrates a significant academic and scholarly interest in emergency medicine to attend the CORD Academic Assembly held each spring.

A proud Nepali-American, Dr. Khatri grew up primarily in Silver Spring, Maryland. She received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Davidson College in North Carolina and then attended George Washington University for medical school where she completed the “Community Health” track. She is currently a third year resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Her interests include health care disparities, the health needs of socially vulnerable populations and resident wellness and mentorship. She also enjoys creative writing.
