Congratulations to Michelle Lynch for receiving one of the EMRA ACEP16 Travel Scholarships!  Each spring several scholarships are provided to help EMRA student and resident members travel to attend the events at ACEP’s annual meeting.

Ms. Lynch is a fourth year medical student at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She is a member of EMRA and the ACEP Wellness Section.  She serves as the UVA SOM Emergency Medicine Interest Group Vice President and started the school’s mentorship program. Currently, she is in a research year in the areas of predictive analytics and provider wellbeing.  She plans to use what she has learned so far to benefit Emergency Departments to be a safe and effective environments to provide and receive care.

We are certain Ms. Lynch has an excellent career ahead of her and look forward to seeing where her road takes her.
