Assistant, Associate or Full Professor Emergency Medicine The Department of Emergency Medicine (http://emergencymed.ucsd.edu/ The UCSD Department of Emergency Medicine provides excellent opportunities for clinical service, teaching, and research at one of the nation’s top-ranked Medical Schools and one of the most academically productive Emergency Departments in the country. The Department has had a long track- record of success in research with extramural funding from the NIH, NSF, HRSA, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, California Healthcare Foundation, and Department of Justice. The Department also serves as a site for the SIREN Consortium. The successful candidate will be able to build on this success to establish a trajectory focused on research and scholarly work. Experience and interest in hyperbaric medicine, toxicology, ultrasound, critical care, informatics, EMS, or international emergency medicine is preferred. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
