The Department of Emergency Medicine at University of Kentucky is recruiting for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level with EMS experience. Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in both Emergency Medicine and the EMS Sub-board. In addition to serving as clinical faculty, there is the opportunity to serve as the Medical Director for various EMS organizations and municipalities in Central Kentucky.

Faculty provide coverage for the Emergency Department at the University of Kentucky’s Chandler Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. The Emergency Department at Chandler Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and regional referral center, with over 85,000 annual visits. The Emergency Department at Good Samaritan Hospital has an annual census of over 29,000 patients. The department has 34 full-time faculty members and provides medical directorship to the state board of EMS, regional Air Medical, and UK Athletics Programs.
