While Dara and Jenny are still August and away, guest hosts Mizuho Spangler and Resa E. Lewiss speak with Dr. Niko Louis. This is the third episode in the FemInEM Summer Series: A Chapter in my Story: Emergency Medicine. Niko practiced emergency medicine for 9 years and urgent care medicine for 3 years. In 2010, she became a medical director at Concentra. Her leadership, communication, and organizing skills were quickly recognized. She moved from managing one center and 100 percent patient facing to managing 100 centers across seven states. She is the Vice President of Medical Operations for Concentra. There are few women in her position and she is the first African-American woman in her position.
