Omg thank you so much for this episode. I LOVE how worked up you got about the recruiter! I am a young, black, queer, female emergency medicine physician in an academic ED in California . I literally had an experience last week in which a (white male) paramedic intern whom I’d never met addressed me by my first name to ask for permission to intubate a critically ill patient in my resuscitation bay.
