Bio
I’m a consultant in Emergency Medicine and Paediatric Emergency Medicine at an MTC in Yorkshire, having graduated from the University of Sheffield School of Medicine. I am Training Programme Director for the East Yorkshire EM training programme and have an interest in multiprofessional teaching. My daughter has Down syndrome and autism and has taught me so much about communication with people with learning disabilities. I am passionate about addressing health inequalities for people with LD, particularly in relation to recognition of serious illness in the ED.
