Angela Carrick, MD

Board Certified Emergency Physician, Norman Regional Hospital



Dr. Angela Carrick graduated medical school from Kansas City University of Medicine in 2005 and attended her residency at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She has been an attending physician at Norman Regional Hospital since 2009. Currently she serves on her hospital's Stroke Committee and as Associate Program Director of their EM Residency. She also participates in the ACOEP Bylaws Committee, was an item writer for the NBOME and has judged the CPC at ACOEP the past 2 years. She enjoys teaching her residents and serves as a preceptor for the PA program at the University of Oklahoma. She is also very interested in developing her presentation skills and just took "The Teaching Course" in New York City. Her professional goals include revamping her hospital's residency curriculum to the flipped classroom model, speaking on a national level and mentoring students and residents. She is married with 3 adorable boys (including twins) and is a vegan foodie. Her hobbies include shopping and exercise.
