Bio

Dr. Antoinette Golden is currently a Medical Simulation Residency Director and the Residency Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami, Florida. She is a clinical assistant professor in Emergency Medicine at FIU and Nova Southeastern University. For medical simulation, she develops and implements monthly residency wide simulation curriculum, mock codes and is currently working on a project to improve trauma resuscitative closed loop communication. They organize a yearly, interdisciplinary, large mass casualty drill at the Broward Simulation Center. Dr. Golden organizes and implements hospital and department-wide quality projects and gives frequent lectures on medical errors, cognitive biases, and wellness. She has lectured, provided workshops and moderated panels at the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare and Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors.
