Bio
Ashley Deutsch, MD is the Director of Quality and Patient Safety for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. After completing residency at Baystate Medical Center she entered a Medical Education Fellowship. There she found her passion for teaching Quality Improvement and helping young physicians improve safety for patients in their health system. Through interdepartmental collaboration and innovation she works to ensure quality care is given to all who enter Baystate Medical Center's large academic Emergency Department. Dr. Deutsch serves as an expert panelist for the Betsy Lehman Center for Patient Safety. She also focuses on mentoring young physicians through the world of academia and professional development.
