Bio
Dr. Smalley’s primary focus is in Emergency Bedside Ultrasound. She is very interested in the educational practices of medical students, residents, and attendings in the area of emergency ultrasound. Her fellowship project examined the Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Milestones in relation to resident education. Dr. Smalley also has an interest in education and transition of care issues, specifically consults and hand-offs.
