Dr. Dhara Amin is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Assistant Residency Director for Emergency Medicine at Cook County Health. She went to Los Angeles County (LAC) + University of Southern California (USC) for her emergency medicine residency,

Dr. Amin created and implemented a wellness curriculum for Cook County Emergency Medicine and quality care physician well being is the focus of her work. Her clinical and academic work has been focused on caring for patients in a county system and recognizing the social determinants of healthcare for those patients. Recently, as an assistant program director she has become the leader of curriculum development for the emergency medicine department at Cook County Health and values integrating lecture based, asynchronous, small group, simulation and FOAM education.
