Bio

Dr. Dorothy Habrat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and an EMS Physician Specialist within the Los Angeles County EMS Agency. She is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician and fellowship trained in EMS.

Dr. Habrat is the Medical Director of the Los Angeles County Paramedic Training Institute where she is involved in the education of ~100 paramedic students every year. She is also involved in event medicine working at large concerts and marathons.

Dr. Habrat has had many unique experiences both in training and in her current roles. She has experience in medical education, pre-hospital medical oversight, event medicine, and wilderness and austere medicine.
