Bio
Dr. Simon serves as an associate professor at the Northeast Ohio Medical University and the Emergency Medicine research director for Cleveland Clinic Akron General, which is a 532 bed tertiary care teaching hospital. Her main research focus is freestanding emergency departments, the quality of care they provide, and the role they play in the healthcare system. Her experience also includes working in the main hospital emergency department and three associated freestanding emergency departments which see over 112,00 patients per year.
