Bio

Dr. Huang is currently the Director of Ultrasound Education and Associate Director of Emergency Simulation in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Prior to that she was the Ultrasound Director at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.

She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Alameda County Medical Center/Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA and went on to complete an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Huang's academic interests lie in integrating point of care ultrasound into the medical student and residency curriculum, ultrasound guided regional anesthesia and simulation. She speaks locally and nationally on innovative uses of point of care ultrasound and ultrasound guided regional anesthesia.
