Bio
Dr. Joan Noelker is currently an Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Noelker grew up in St. Louis, attended college at the University of Virginia and completed medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Dr. Noelker completed her residency in EM at Washington University in 2014 and served as a chief resident in her final year. She subsequently stayed on at Wash U as faculty and completed a medical education fellowship which included a Masters in Academic Medicine from the Keck School of Medicine University of Southern California. She has a passion for medical student and resident education, curriculum development and public speaking about EM topics.
