Bio

Dr. Challen completed her medical degree along with a Bachelors in the History of Medicine in Manchester, England. During her emergency medicine training in Manchester, Salford and Preston, she completed an MRes (Public Health) with special study of the triage at the London 7/7 bombings. She also holds a PhD in Health Services Research from the University of Sheffield.

Her particular interests are spotting the retrievably sick patient, risk stratification in the ED, and the interface between EMS, primary care and EM.
