Layla Abubshait, MD

Born and raised in Dammam of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Layla Abubshait completed medical school at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. She completed her emergency medicine residency training at Central Michigan university. She served as a Clinical Research Associate at Baylor College of Medicine. She completed the ACEP teaching fellowship in 2017. Currently, she serves as a faculty development and medical education fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and an editor for the popular ALiEM blog.
