Bio

Dr. Michele McDaniel is a physician in both the pediatric and general emergency departments at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Dr. McDaniel received her undergraduate and medical degrees at Indiana University. She continued her medical education with a residency in emergency medicine, serving as chief resident at Indiana University as well. She went on to complete her pediatric emergency medicine training at Rady Children's, and has since gone on to work as an attending physician in general and pediatric emergency Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, and now at the University of Massachusetts.

Dr. McDaniel has broad academic interests, but specifically enjoys medical education, advocacy, and international medicine. She has been involved in a wide variety of endeavors including lecturing at the local and state levels, mentoring underserved youth in the community, and traveling internationally to provide healthcare in poverty-stricken areas. She strives to provide compassionate care to her patients. She has a special interest in non-sedated procedures.

When not at work, Dr. McDaniel can be found enjoying the great outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
