Bio
I am an Emergency Medicine Physician with sub-specialty training in Critical Care Medicine. I work clinically in the Emergency Department and the Surgical, Cardiac and Medical ICU.
My research focuses on promoting patient-centered care for those with serious illness. Recent projects include work to identify patients with unmet palliative care needs in the ED, and to improve "crisis communication" between ED clinicians and ED patients with acute deterioration of the health status.
I also do research in prognositication in sepsis and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
