Bio

Trish is the President & Co-Founder of Point-of-care Ultrasound in Resource-limited Environments (PURE, www.pureultrasound.org), a non-profit organization focused on ultrasound education and research in the developing world with current training programs in Rwanda, Uganda and Liberia. Trish works clinically in the USA as an emergency medicine physician in the Division of Emergency Ultrasound at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. She co-chairs the Global Health Subcommittee for ACEP’s Emergency Ultrasound Section, and when she isn’t working on global ultrasound projects she likes to race triathlon, climb mountains and play outside with her friends and family any chance she can get!
