Bio
Dr. Mead is an energetic speaker with a passion for emergency ultrasound. She especially loves to introduce her EM colleagues to focused ocular and lung ultrasound.
She speaks on a variety of ultrasound based topics including: SonoRounds (interactive case based tours of interesting pathology), Introduction to the RUSH exam, IVC and Echo for fluid responsiveness and Innovations in Emergency Ultrasound.
Dr. Mead practices as a full time emergency physician for Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, Michigan. She also serve as a core faculty member and the Ultrasound Director for the Central Michigan University Emergency Medicine Residency.
