Bio

Dr. Millard spent 15 years as an advanced care paramedic in Calgary, Alberta before entering medicine as a second career. As a single parent of two young children organization, time management, and establishing priorities became essential skills. She completed residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY before returning to Canada to complete a fellowship in sport medicine. Wanda enjoys a practice including both emergency medicine and sport medicine at a tertiary care teaching centre. She has an Olympic Gold medal and numerous World Championship medals as team physician for the National Women's Hockey Teams in Canada as well as extensive experience in covering individual teams and large multi-sport events such as Pan Am Games. Wanda lives in London, Ontario in a multi-generation household with her father and adult son.
