Bio

Yvette McQueen, MD is an Emergency Medicine physician, travel doctor, instructor, speaker, entrepreneur, author, and consultant. She has traveled to over thirty countries worldwide, serving both travelers and local residents, promoting health education, travel wellness, and disease prevention. Over the years, she has organized medical missions to Africa, performed hospital training and teaching in Rwanda and Tanzania, conducted wilderness emergency care training, international teaching for the American Heart Association, and participated in international church missions.

Dr. McQueen is the CEO of MedQueen LLC, through which she offers travel medicine, urgent care, and nutritional consultations via telemedicine to individuals, executives, and travel groups. As a locum tenens physician, she also travels across the United States, providing her services in hospitals’ emergency departments.

Dr. McQueen obtained her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed her Emergency Medicine residency in Detroit, Michigan. She currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida.
