Bio

Ashlee Murray, MD, MPH is an attending physician in the Division of Emergency Medicine at The Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia (CHOP) and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania (PENN). She currently directs the hospital-wide Intimate Partner Violence Task Force at CHOP in collaboration with community partner’s, Lutheran Settlement House. She is also the Associate Director of Advocacy and Health Policy for the Division of Emergency Medicine and a Senior Center for Public Health Initiatives (CPHI) Fellow at PENN. Her research and academic interests include public health, program implementation, and intimate partner violence. She currently teaches for the Public Health Program at PENN and was recently awarded the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Interdisciplinary Research Leaders grant, in collaboration with Temple University and Lutheran Settlement House, to conduct a three year mixed-methods research study investigating bidirectional feedback between health care providers and IPV survivors.
