Cori Poffenberger, MD, FACEP
Dr. Cori McLure Poffenberger grew up on Southern Oregon, where she used to complain about Californians, until she decided to become one. She attended Stanford University for her undergraduate studies and then moved to Nashville to complete her MD at Vanderbilt University. She returned to Stanford for her Emergency Medicine residency, but ended up completely residency at Harbor-UCLA in Torrence, where she also did her ultrasound fellowship. She stayed at Harbor as faculty for 4 years before returning to Stanford where she now serve as the Director for Faculty Development and Wellness for the Department of Emergency Medicine. She enjoys running, listening to country music, reading and sleeping, but she rarely gets to do that last one thanks to her three children.
