Dr. Min attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her residency in emergency medicine at the University of Arizona where she was chosen to be a Chief Resident during her senior year. She stayed on as faculty there and served as the Associate Residency Program Director for 7 years. In 2018, her career transitioned as she was appointed the Associate Dean of Career Development for the College of Medicine – Tucson. She has served as core faculty for the University Campus Residency Program since 2011. Dr. Min served as the inaugural EM Diversity Champion, acting as a liaison to the College of Medicine – Tucson Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She facilitated trainings on bias, allyship, and confronting bias. She also founded and chaired the DEM Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. Recently Dr. Min took on a new leadership role in the University of Arizona College of Health Sciences as the Senior Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Inclusion. In this role, she holds a critical position building the faculty affairs infrastructure and processes to support the development and inclusion of faculty in this new College. Dr. Min’s professional interests include medical education, professional and leadership development, and wellbeing. She is actively involved with national, regional, and local committees related to women in academic medicine, faculty affairs and development, and wellbeing. She is also currently working towards certification as an executive coach to add this skillset to her work supporting faculty, residents, and students.
