Dr. Chung is a Professor at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, where she also serves as the Vice Chair of Academic Affairs for the Department of Emergency Medicine. In addition to her academic leadership role, she is currently serving her second consecutive term on the Board of Directors for the Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine (CORD), contributing to the advancement of emergency medicine education at a national level. Dr. Chung has been recognized for her significant contributions to the field, receiving the New York ACEP Advancing Emergency Care Award in 2018. In 2019, she was honored as one of the original EMRA 45 Under 45 Young Physician Influencers in Emergency Medicine, highlighting her impact on the profession early in her career. She was named the 2022 Residency Director of the Year by EMRA, a testament to her dedication to residency education and mentorship. As a sought-after speaker and educator, Dr. Chung has made advocating for physician wellness a central theme of her work.
