Dr. Korin Hudson is a Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine and an attending physician with MedStar Health in Washington, DC and Northern VA. She was both an athletic trainer and a paramedic before going on to medical school, completing both her medical degree and residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Virginia. She has been on faculty at Georgetown University and Medstar Health in Washington, DC since 2006, spending a year pursuing her fellowship in primary care sports medicine in 2014. Dr. Hudson is currently the Team Physician for Georgetown University Athletics, the Washington Wizards, and the Washington Mystics, and is a Consulting Physician for the Washington Capitals, and the Maryland Jockey Club. She is a member of the NBA Emergency Medical Preparedness Committee and the NHL Emergency Action Planning Committee. She is also the program director for the primary care sports medicine fellowship at Georgetown. She has over 20 years of experience in the care of athletes and has a particular interest in non-operative musculoskeletal care, diagnosis and treatment of concussion, and emergency action planning and mass casualty incident preparedness as it relates to athletic events and venues.
