As an Associate Program Director of the Emergency Medicine residency program, I shape the next generation of emergency physicians while maintaining an active clinical practice. My leadership extends to chairing the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, where I champion initiatives to create a more inclusive healthcare environment. Building on my strong educational foundation, which includes completing a prestigious medical education fellowship at Harvard and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) teaching fellowship. I've presented at major national conferences including the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (PACEP), the Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine (CORD), and the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers (AIAMC). My international speaking engagements have included presentations in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, where I've shared insights on emergency medicine practices and healthcare equity. My expertise lies at the critical intersection of patient care, cultural competency, and religious sensitivity in emergency medicine. My work focuses on developing and implementing strategies to provide more equitable healthcare delivery while respecting and incorporating patients' cultural and religious backgrounds. Through my research, teaching, and clinical practice, I continue to advance the field's understanding of how cultural and religious factors impact emergency care outcomes.
