Dr. Susan Farrell is a Program Director at Partners Healthcare International and the Director of the comprehensive clinical skills OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) at Harvard Medical School, where she leads efforts to advance clinical assessment and medical education. She previously served as an educator in the Partners Healthcare Office for Graduate Medical Education, supporting residency and fellowship programs across multiple specialties. An emergency physician since 1993, Dr. Farrell has built a career at the intersection of clinical care and medical education, with a particular focus on learner assessment and faculty development. In 2022, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), contributing her expertise to national efforts in board certification and standards in emergency medicine. Dr. Farrell earned her BS in engineering from Syracuse University before receiving her MD from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1990. She completed her residency in emergency medicine and fellowship in medical toxicology at The Medical College of Pennsylvania.
