Bio

Natalie is an Emergency Physician and completed a post-graduate fellowship in toxicology in Sydney in 2019. She has also worked for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) intermittently since 2008. She is enrolled in a PhD at the University of Sydney from which she is currently taking time out to work as the Medical Coordinator for MSF in Palestine, based in Jerusalem. In 2019, she worked with a large team of volunteer doctors and others to provide assessments and an access pathway to the so-called Medevac legislation in Australia which aimed to medicalize the access to healthcare for refugees and asylum seekers in Australia’s offshore processing system. Her spare time is generally spent being bossed around by a toddler.
