Bio
Dr. Alyssa Abo is the Director of the Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship as well as the Director of Clinical Ultrasound at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. In addition, she chairs a hospital oversight committee for point of care ultrasound.
She completed her pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and an emergency ultrasound fellowship at the University of California, Davis. She is a leader in the field of pediatric emergency ultrasound and enjoys teaching both nationally and internationally. Her research interests include quality improvement as it relates to point of care ultrasound.
